If you don't want a loan product available for your members, you can set it to inactive.
To create a loan product, you need to define the product characteristics in a Credit Policy and connect the ledger in the Chart of Accounts.
Step-by-step guide
If you want to disable a loan product, do the following steps:
- Log in to the Wakandi Admin Panel.
- Open the Settings menu and choose Policies and Credit Product Policy.
- You can click on the pen icon on the product you want to disable.
- Tick so the box Active is empty, and click Submit.
Now the product is inactive. That means the product is unavailable for members to apply for new loans, but existing loans and applications will be unaffected.
